Tomorrow the third edition of the Rainbowrun will kick off. The Rainbowrun is a sponsored run in order to raise well needed funds for research into the muscular disease ALS.
What makes the run so special is that it is not about winning or setting records, but it is all about having fun. At different ‘funpoints’ during the 5 km long run, the participants will be thrown and covered with coloured powder.
The main purpose of the Rainbowrun is the money that is being raised for research into ALS. All registration fees and sponsorship money will go to this cause. This year was the first time participants were given the opportunity to find creative ways to raise additional money for this cause themselves.
The total amount of funds raised will be revealed at the end of the Run.
