The Tongelreep has new plans to renew it family swimming pool, and proposes to close the wave pool as of 6 september. Those are the plans in a proposal by the city council.
Part of the wave pool area will be converted into a familie swimming pool, meaning a more space for recreational swimming. The council has worked out three options, whereby the preferred solution is building three indoor pools for swimming lessons and family swimming, and an outside spray park for children.
The swimming facilities will stay available and accessible to the public.
