The maintenance work on Kennedylaan will be completed by the end of this week, if all goes according to the plan.
The finishing touches will be applied during the upcoming weekend. As a result, the lanes from the ring road till Fellenoord, will be closed to traffic. The lanes direction Woensel and the highways, will remain open. The TU (Technical University) and de Kamer van Koophandel (The Chamber of Commerce) will remain accessible.
During the last eight months, the Kennedylaan was maintained extensively. It was narrowed from 2×3 lanes to 2×2 lanes. Furthermore, the asphalt was replaced and the trees in the centre median strip, have now additional growing space.
