The second edition of the Santa Run will be held in the centre of the city this evening. The Santa Run is a running event for Santas only.
A total of 1250 runners can participate, but so far only about 400 people have signed up. The route begins and ends at Smalle Haven and also takes participants across Markt, 18 Septemberplein and Stratumseind.
However, there are more aspects of the Christmas spirit intertwined in this event than the Running Santas. Both runners and spectators are invited to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the ‘Voedselbank’ (Food Bank).
The Santas will be running in downtown Eindhoven from 21:30 to 22:30.
