A bike rider was injured on the Genovevalaan last night when she was hit by a car. The woman was taken to hospital.
The accident happened around a quarter to five, near Winkelcentrum (shopping centre) Woensel. She was crossing the road when she was hit by the car.
The car was also badly damaged in the accident, the driver was shocked. The cyclist was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It is not know how severe her injuries are.
There are several traffic lights at the intersection where the accident occurred. How the accident could happen is still unclear.
