The municipality of Geldrop should continue to provide so-called sustainability loans to residents. This will be proposed by D66 Geldrop as one of the topics in the council meeting tonight.
With these loans people from Geldrop and Mierlo can borrow money from the municipality at relatively favourable conditions. This funding should be used to improve homes and make them more environmentally friendly.
There was initially 350,000 euros made available by the municipality, however, D66 requests additional funds of 175,000 euros. D66 wants to use a part of the surplus of 2014.
