Eindhoven has got a new festival: Foodstock, a three-day event dedicated to food, drink, music and relaxation on the TU-site.
During the festival food and drink take a central place. The mobile kitchens, also called ‘Food Strucks’, form the basis of the event. With the event Foodstock likes to contribute to a better environment consciousness. Therefore, the organization invests in local produce, organic food and drinks, sustainability and recycling.
Food stock is derived from Woodstock: the biggest music event of the 1960s. Therefore, on Foodstock also attention will be given to music. Several music venues can be found. On the ‘Livestock’ stage all kinds of live musicians will be performing. From singer-songwriters to bands. The second stage, ‘Deepstock’, is reserved for DJs.
The festival will take place from 24 to 26 July 2015 at the TU site in Eindhoven. Admission is free. The line-up will be announced later.
