The storm that is blowing across the Netherlands throws a spanner in the wheels for the sailors of the students regatta Race of the Classics.
Due to the hard wind 23 ships can not depart from the port of Rotterdam. This reports the organization. Also a TU/e students team was supposed to participate in the 27th Edition of the event.
The plan was that a week long, hundreds of students of different colleges and universities from around the country would enter the competition, battling at the North Sea. They have been preparing for the race for months. When the students regatta will continue, is still unclear.
