The ice hockey team of the Eindhoven Dolphin Kemphanen was swept away by Unis Flyers Friesland in their own house yesterday. With 2-13 the Eindhoven team lost their last game of the season.
The coach of the team, Marc Visschers, said they have not only lost the match yesterday, but also the team got eliminated from the play-offs. They didn’t lose this chance themselves; the players were dependent on the results of the Laco Eaters from Limburg.
The Laco Eaters won from Herentals this weekend. This gives them a place above the Eindhoven Kemphanen. As the fourth and last team, they have thereby reached the play-offs.
