The Eindhoven running season is closed on Thursday 18 December with the Santa Run. The special Christmas running event is an initiative of the Eindhoven Marathon and is intended to raise money for the ‘Voedselbank’ (Food Bank). Sporty Santas, both male and female, can register as of now.
The Santa Run route is five kilometres long. It starts and finishes in the Catharinaplein. The route will lead participants through downtown Eindhoven along, for instance, the Rechtestraat, Markt, Molenveld and Stratumseind.
A total of 1,500 participants runners will be able to participate. The organization will provide the participants with Santa suits.
