Yesterday, Strijp Services opened its doors at Strijp-S. It offers a training program and a workplace for autistic youth, but it is also a place where Strijp-S residents can find all sorts of facilities.
Strijp Services offers a bakery, a butcher, a shoe repair shop and a dry cleaner. There is library as well, where you can read or borrow books. Many of the services are provided by autistic youth, finding a useful daytime occupation this way.
Strijp Services was initiated by housing corporation Woonbedrijf and care corporation Futuris Zorg en Werk and is located at Torenallee.
