Philips bring Nintendo to court

Philips drags game console manufacturer Nintendo to court in America. According to Philips, Nintendo has used technology in their Wii consoles that Philips has two patents for. This is reported by the Telegraaf.

It involves technology that records users’ movements and processes them in the computer game.

Philips seeks compensation for damages and further demands that Nintendo cease sales in America of all game consoles with this technology.

The case takes place in the U.S. state of Delaware.
