Nuenen’s local party W70 is organizing a photo contest in order to improve the town’s image.
Professional, as well as amateur photographers of Nuenen, Gerwen, Nederwetten and Eeneind may enter the contest showing Nuenen’s best side. The selected photographs will be used for a new series of post cards.
W70 Nuenen wants to show the positive side of Nuenen, after a year of negative publicity involving the investigation into the alleged land fraud, financial problems and a discussion about the future governing of the municipality.
Photographers entering the contest may pick their objects, which can be events, people, animals, or spots. The deadline for sending in photos is Saturday 8 February. The following week, visitors of W70 Nuenen’s website can vote for their favourite photo. The five highest scoring photos will be printed as post cards in an edition of 1,000 copies.
