Philips offers 10,000 women free mammography testing

Philips Healthcare offers 10,000 women free mammography testing on a global scale, marking the second year of the company’s Breast Cancer Awareness program.

The offer’s main focus is on women in Mexico, Brazil, Russia and Poland. Philips wants to highlight the importance of early detection among woman in these countries.

In the Netherlands, systematic screening already takes place. Therefore, the company’s focus is on areas where women do not have easy access to mammography testing.

Last year, Philips started its Breast Cancer Awareness program. It highlights the importance of early detection by illuminating 100 landmarks around the world pink throughout the month of October.
