Rowing-club Beatrix is celebrating its 50th anniversary by organizing a fleet review at the Eindhovens Kanaal Saturday.
At least thirty boats will be launched, manned with a hundred rowers. There will be racing boats, classic wooden boats, junior boats and eights. Rowers are going to row in loops, like a carousel. Mayor Van Gijzel is taking on the task of Admiral, inspecting the fleet. The fleet review starts at 10.45 hrs and will be followed by the rowing club’s Open Day from 11.30 until 15.00 hrs.
