Tomorrow, the international robotics competition Robocup starts in Eindhoven. It makes many people happy: those who love technique, but also the city’s hotel owners.
The event attracts many visitors, hence hotels are fuller than usual, according to the Eindhovens Dagblad.
Hotels’ occupancy rates are higher, but room rates increased as well. Booking site Trivago calculated that hotel prices are up by 61 per cent on average in Eindhoven this week.
