The fourth edition of the graffiti-event ‘Step in the Arena’ attracted nearly 7000 visitors. This is less than last year when 8000 visitors showed up.
It was the fourth time the ‘Berenkuil’ (bear pit) got a completely different look. About 200 graffiti artists from all over the world came to Eindhoven. There were experienced artists, as well as young talent. The changeable weather has not thrown a spanner in the works for the artists. Organizer Dave van den Bergh was afraid of that, but the artists used quick-dry paint. Van den Bergh likes to organize another Step in the Arena next year. That will be the first lustrum. He already has many ideas in his head, but doesn’t want to reveal those yet. Step in The Arena is part of E-Moves, Urban Culture Festival Eindhoven.
