On Monday morning two burglars from Eindhoven were arrested after attempting to break into a shed on the Leemkuijlen in Geldrop.
A local resident reported the break-in to the police and gave chase to a suspect himself but lost sight of him.Later on the Ganseboom, the police saw two bicycles lying in the bushes, and behind them, two men attempting to conceal themselves. One of them answered the description given by the eyewitness. The two men, 27 and 34-years-old, were arrested and taken to the police station. A police dog discovered a bag in the bushes containing what appeared to be stolen goods and tools used for house-breaking. Dectectives are trying to trace the articles.
