In Eindhoven, parking fees increased sharply the past year. That is the finding of ‘Retail Netherlands’.
In the parking garage at Kennedyplein, the hourly rate increased from two to three euros. In the basement of the Heuvel Galerie, the price of a ticket rose by 13 percent, to 2.50 euros.Also, the average hourly on-street parking charge increased significantly last year. In 2011, it was still 2.50 euros; in 2012, the price came to 3.20 euro per hour.The parking fees in Eindhoven increased much faster than the rest of the Netherlands.
