EINDHOVEN – Jacco Verhaeren steps down. The coach behind successes such as Pieter van den Hoogenband, Inge de Bruijn and Ranomi Kromowidjojo will completely dedicate his time to his role as Technical Director of the Royal Dutch Swimming Federation KNZB the coming years.
Verhaeren was swim coach at the Olympic swimming stadium ‘the Tongelreep’ in Eindhoven.Pieter van den Hoogenband is especially proud of his old coach Jacco Verhaeren, who announced his retirement as coach on Tuesday. “He has always said that he wanted to be the best swimming coach in the world.
