Young Brabant conductor wins large contest in Budapest

BOEDAPEST – Sander Teepen from Deurne has won a prominent international conductors competition in Hungary, Budapest.

He was chosen unanimously by the members of the MAV Symphony Orchestra, one of the largest orchestra’s in Hungary. Teepen competed against 14 other conductors over a period of a week. They rehersed works of  Stravinsky, Liszt, Mendelsohn en Brahms. Source: Omroep Brabant
