EINDHOVEN – For the new academic year seventeen percent more students have signed for the Eindhoven University of Technology than last year. Especially amongst women, a technical study is becoming increasingly popular.
The past months 40 percent more women have signed up for a technical study at the TU/e. This increases the proportion of women in the studies of 22 to 27 percent.The increase in the number of female applications is caused by the new advertising campaign according to Lex Lemmens, responsible for the bachelor programs, ” For future students it is now clearer what you can do with the study.”Source: Omroep Brabant
