GELDROP – Witches have existed for ages and one has made her home in Geldrop. Sandra de Vries is the Witch of the South, and had even completed an education to become a witch. At full moon every month, she organises a lunar celebration.
Visitors go there to get to know themselves better and to receive advice from the witch.De Vries is certainly one of the few professional witches in the Netherlands. This magical ritual is one of her regular activities where she provides lectures and readings; and for 20 euros per person, guests can be witness her lunar celebration and join in the mysticism and magic. Participants bask in the light of the full moon to rid themselves of the negativities in their life and strengthen their positive strengths. The witch uses her broomstick as part of the ritual – not to fly but to draw a circle around her guests.Source: Omroep Brabant
