The number of corona patients continues to decrease in Maxima Medical Center (MMC) and Catharina Hospital. There are now a total of 68 patients, which is eighteen fewer than before the weekend.

Of these, 35 are in Catharina Hospital and 33 are in Maxima Medical Center. During the weekend, two people died in Catharina Hospital and five in Maxima MC. This brings the total number of deaths in both hospitals to 140.

Intensive care

22 COVID-19 patients in hospitals are in need of intensive care. That’s down three patients from before the weekend. In Catharina Hospital thirteen people are in intensive care, in MMC a total of nine.

In the last 24 hours, one COVID-19 patient has been discharged from Catharina Hospital. During the weekend, 23 people were discharged from Maxima Medical Center. With these figures, it should be taken into account that MMC, unlike Catharina Hospital, also includes patients who have not been tested but who are suspected of carrying the virus.
