British department store name John Lewis will open seven ‘shop-in-shop’ outlets in de Bijenkorf stores across the Netherlands over the next two years.
In their first venture on the European continent, the retailer will open their first stores in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague next spring.
Eindhoven and Utrecht will have their own stores by the end of 2016, followed by Amstelveen and Maastricht in 2017.
Each shop will have floor space of between 25 and 50 square metres, with de Bijenkorf in charge of interior design.
The John Lewis range includes home and lifestyle products.
