It is almost time for Halloween. This year, Eindhoven Parktheater, CKE, and the Oude Spoorbaan residents have organised something special. On Thursday, 31 October, they will have a spooky Halloween, full of theatre performances, music, and dancing.
The walk takes place in the Oude Spoorbaan district in Eindhoven. The old, monumental railway house monument on Hoogstraat will play a major role in this event. Trains used to leave for here to the Belgian mines.
This event is open to everyone. Students from Summa College will help guide older people from the local retirement through the route. A local theatre group, Carte Blanche, will assist people with disabilities.
This hour-long Spooky Halloween route will be open from 19:00 to 21:00. It starts at De Straatkamer, 1 Godfriedstraat in Eindhoven. Admission is free. The course is clearly marked. Younger children should bring along a red (bicycle) light. Carrying this red light will let the ‘ghosts’ and ‘ghouls’ know they do not want to be frightened.
