Do you know an extraordinary young man or lady? Could they be worthy of a jeugdlintje (youth ribbon)?
The Eindhoven Municipality is looking for boys and girls who might deserve a jeugdlintje. With this award, the City Council wants to show their appreciation to these young people and thank them in a special way for their contribution.
Who is eligible? Young men and ladies, between the ages of 6 and 18, who dedicate themselves to others and the city. Think, for example, of someone who has offered help to their parents, family, the elderly, the sick or lonely for an extended period.
Did they do something amazing?
Or maybe they have set up an action for a good cause or have made another kind of social contribution. They could even have invented something or set some sort of amazing record.
If you know an Eindhoven hero between the ages of 6 and 18, who is an example to their peers and deserves to be put in the spotlight, register your mini-hero. Or send an email to b.ijff@eindhoven.nl for a printed form. Registration is open until Monday 27 September.
