For the first time, an Eindhoven-based company is going to compete in the First Lego League with a junior team.
Frencken Europe created a team composed of employees’ children. According to a company spokesman, investments need to be made in the company’s future by getting children acquainted with science in a fun way today. Frencken’s team is composed of children who never participated in the First Lego League. They will be facing more experienced children at the tournament.Thousands of children from 85 different countries take part in the FLL. Today, at 18:00 hrs, is the official kick off at Frencken. Around 150 young participants from the area will be there to watch this year’s challenge release in the United States on big screens. The children will be working on the challenge during the next three months. The regional Championships will take place in December.
