At the big closing party for the first-year students, money was raised for sick boy Faber Wijdeveld.
At the Klokgebouw, a large final-party was organised by and for the students of the TU/e, Fontys and the Design Academy. In one of the rooms there was a stand selling neon-gadgets. All proceeds from this stand will go to the foundation “Faber goes USA”.The fundraising for the sick 3-year-old Faber Wijdeveld has already produced 45.000 euros. A total of 50,000 euros is needed for Faber to be able to receive a specific immune therapy in the United States. If there is a surplus of money, the family will donate this to other charities related to child cancer.
