The Dutch team won ten medals at the European Championships Lifesaving in Den Haag.
Seven of the Dutch team’s athletes train at top level at the TU/e students’ pool.Lifesaving is the sports division of the Reddingsbridages Nederland (Rescue Squad) and includes pool and ocean events. During these European Championships, athletes competed in the Hofbad pool in Den Haag and in the sea near Noordwijk.
