Georginio Wijnaldum is possibly the new captain for PSV. Trainer Phillip Cocu conveyed this information yesterday. The player himself admitted during the press conference that it would very much make him happy to be made captain of the club.
Cocu has not yet reported the final decision to the group and would therefore prefer to keep it undisclosed. At tonight’s game against ‘Zulte Waregem’, more light will be shed.Wijnaldum is, just as is Schaars and Hiljemark, a contender for the captain position.
