Together, the Máxima Medical Center and the Catharina Hospital are starting a center for cardiac rehabilitation.
With the two hospitals cooperating, money will be saved and scientific research will be combined. The new cardiac rehabilitation center is going to be one of the largest in the Netherlands.
The center of expertise will be located at the Máxima Medical Centre in Eindhoven. If everything goes according to plan, it should open its doors in January.
