Brent L. will be handed over to The Netherlands. The decision came from the court of cassation in Brussels. The main suspect involved in the aggravated assault case which took place on the Vestdijk will be in a Dutch cell in a few days’ time.
L. had already appealed on a number of occasions. The extradition is now definitive. No further appeal will be granted. Brent L. is the second suspect to be extradited in connection with the assault charge. Brett S. is already in The Netherlands. L. is seen as the main suspect because he was the first to use force during the assault which took place in January.
