Once again, a Dutch doctor who had been banned from working has been discredited.
The newspaper, the ‘Algemeen Dagblad’ (AD), revealed that the doctor in question, Joop Peperkamp, had his own practice in Eindhoven for a time.
The controversial neurologist was struck off in the Netherlands and Belgium for lacking medical knowledge. Despite this, he had no difficulty finding work in the UK.
Peperkamp started working at King’s Mill Hospital in Nottinghamshire in the UK last year. The BBC reported that no patients had been harmed by the doctor’s work, and that the neurologist had only been working there for a month.
