In Eindhoven a 36-year-old man from Venray was picked up on Sunday after eating and drinking in different pubs and failing to pay his bill.
Within a short period of time the police received reports from three different establishments on the Dommelstraat and the Stationsplein. Employees from the third pub were able to apprehend and detain the man until the police arrived. The culprit had consumed food and drinks to the tune of more than 50 euros. It appears that he has used the same trick dozens of times recently. The man was arrested and remains in police custody pending further investigation.
