EINDHOVEN – Eindhoven Museum presents the exhibition “Marcus & Mo” in the ‘Steentjeskerk’ (pebbles church) from 4 November 2012 until 28 February 2013. Marcus, a ten-year-old from 1312, and Mo, a youngster from 2012, take you to the Eindhoven of their time.
Trade places with a medieval child and play the time line. What toys do you play with, what does the city look like and what clothes do you wear? Every weekend, there is a programmed activity. In cooperation with various institutions, such as Eindhoven Dynamo and the CKE (center for art Eindhoven), the museum has put together a program with modern dance, music, sports, creative expressions, etc..At the end of the exhibition, the visitor takes a glimpse into the future. Over the past year, Eindhoven Museum has asked people how they think archaeologists will look at us 700 years from now and what should be preserved of our current lives. All these ideas are displayed in homemade time capsules. The exhibition “Marcus & Mo” is the first exhibition of Museum Eindhoven, the new organization that originated from Museum Kempenland Eindhoven and Historical open-air Museum Eindhoven. “Van Begin tot Eindhoven” is open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The exhibition is made possible by the Cooperative Fund of Rabobank Eindhoven-Veldhoven.http://www.eindhovenmuseum.nl/Eindhoven Museum Boutenslaan 161 B
