EINDHOVEN – Eindhoven is going to approach the Province and the Netherlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch railways) and insist that the night train network be maintained.
The Eindhoven town council unanimously presented a motion calling for the maintenance Tuesday night.The Executive Council wants Brabant night trains to ride until 2 am only starting next year. Keeping night trains running until 4 am is apparently not profitable. The town council wants to keep the night-time connection with the Randstad. According to the political groups it means that Eindhoven residents can attend late-night events in the Randstad or leave for Schiphol early in the morning.
