Fontys remains popular among foreign students

THE HAGUE – Fontys remains popular among foreign students. The higher professional education (HBO) with offices in Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Tilburg is just like last year second in the top 10 courses in higher education with most foreign students.

Last school year there were 3816 Fontys students from across the border, 168 more than the year before. From all institutions of higher education in the Netherlands, the University of Maastricht drew most foreign students. This appears from figures from the Dutch organization for international cooperation in higher education, Nuffic. These have been presented Monday.Relatively speaking, the Design Academy in Eindhoven is the most popular Brabant higher education institution among foreign students. The percentage of foreign students here is 21.5 percent.
