Toivonen not happy with price tag around his neck

Tuesday, 17 August 2012

EINDHOVEN – Ola Toivonen thinks that PSV is asking far too much money for him. The Swedish player says he wants to leave Eindhoven because he needs a new challenge. “But the price tag for PSV is a bit unreasonable,” says Toivonen for the Swedish football channel Fotbollskanalen.

The international says that there has been interest. “Why that didn’t go through, you need to ask PSV.” The Russian Roebin Kazan and the Turkish Trabzonspor are supposed to be interested. “I particularly like to stay in a well-known competition, though the Russian league is already very good and will only get better.”Toivonen has still got an ongoing contract with PSV. He is playing in Eindhoven since 2008. He will practice with Sweden against Brazil on Wednesday.Source: Eindhoven Dichtbij
