The TU/e has emerged as the best technological university in the Netherlands in the annual survey done by the weekly publication, Elsevier. This is from the results obtained in ‘Beste studies 2017’ (Best Studies 2017) survey.
Each year, Elsevier researches which kinds of studies are the best to give (future) students a keen interest in their chosen field of study. Universities of Technology are distinguished from “normal”universities in the study. When both lists are combined, the U/e is in 2nd place behind Wageningen University (63,2% student satisfaction).
Among Universities of Technology, the TU/e has the highest number of satisfied students (41,7%). Twente (4,8%) and Delft (-6,3%) score significantly lower.
TU/e Rector, Frank Baaijens, is proud of the appreciation of the university shown by the students. “This translates into the increasing popularity of all our courses, which is excellent news for the future of the Netherlands”, he says on the university‘s website.
