GLOW returns to Philips Stadium with ‘Once upon a light’

Philips Stadium will, once again, be part of the light festival, GLOW. Every evening, it will host a huge light show, entitled ‘Once upon a Light’.

From 11 to 18 November, for the twelfth time, Eindhoven will be filled with light art. There is a six kilometre walking route through its public areas, full of local and international artists’ projects. Last year, GLOW attracted 740 000 visitors.

A light show, lasting half an hour can be seen in the Philips Stadium. Stage designers, TWOFIFTYK, will work their magic with various projectors, music, dance acts and special effects.

The city has long been known as a source of light because of the establishment of a match factory and the light bulb manufacturer, Philips. The light show takes visitors on a tour through the history and development of the city of light, Eindhoven.

GLOW has been collaborating with the Philips stadium for years. In 2013, the event was even opened in the stadium. PSV has made the stadium available for the festival for the coming  three years.

The light show will take place every evening at 19:30, and then again at 21:30, during GLOW. Tickets are available on the site.
