Fire in the DAF factory

On Thursday afternoon, a fire raged in the exhaust installation of a DAF factory in the Hugo van der Goeslaan in Eindhoven.

According to the Fire Department, the fire was quickly under control, because the sprinkler system already had extinguished the fire.

Firemen arrived on the scene with two fire-fighting engines and a boom truck.

The employees were evacuated swiftly and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
