Polar bears outside for the first time

The new-born polar bears in Dierenrijk Nuenen ventured outside for the first time on Tuesday.

According to the zoo, the twins Pixel and Noordje are doing well above the expectations. The two will still need to stay close to their mother for a while. The father and other polar bears cannot come near them for another six months.The polar bear twins were born nearly three months ago. They weighed about 600 grams (21 oz) each at birth.
