Only Friends Eindhoven is a new sports club in our region especially for children and young people with a disability. It opened its doors to the public on Saturday.
PSV football player Katja Snoeijs opened the new sports club together with Phoxy, the PSV mascot. The PSV football team for amputees was also present.
On Saturdays, visitors can take part in various sports until 14:00. They offer boxing, dancing, wall climbing, football and volleyball.
Only Friends Eindhoven aims to enable children and young people with a disability from the Eindhoven region to play sports. It also wants them to play in an environment that feels safe and familiar. “My son is completely flourishing today. It’s great that there is a place where he can work out and make friends,” says a mother. Only Friends Eindhoven is located in the sports complex of the International School in Eindhoven.
