The second edition of ‘Leuk je te Ontmoeten‘(meaning nice to meet you) will take place Sunday 24th of June.
‘Leuk je te Ontmoeten‘ is a special event for people with slight mental disabilities or autism. The event takes place at kids’ farm ‘Eigen Wijs‘.
The free festival has an accessible program with live music, various food stalls, as well as stalls where lots is for sale and activities are organized.
It is often difficult for people with a light disability to enjoy or meet at regular festivals. This is the reason why this Eindhoven event ensures its target group gets a chance to get in touch with each other. Moreover, friends, acquaintances, local residents and others can join and participate in the fun as well.
Kristy van der Heijden, chairman of the Foundation ‘Leuk je te Ontmoeten‘, is pleased this second edition of the event takes place. “Every month we are told: ‘Can’t you organize this each month?’ We believe that everyone should be given an opportunity to visit a festival”.
Sunday 24th of June, the festival starts at 14:00 and lasts till approximately 19:00. The ‘Eigen Wijs’ farm is located in the Philips van Lenneppark, in Eindhoven.
