The construction of a small park near the Catharina Church started Monday. The park will have trees, plants and benches. At the end of next month, the so-called Pastorietuin (parsonage garden) should be ready.

The site, next to the church, is currently still largely paved. According to the municipality, the location should become greener and more attractive. Plans for additional greenery, benches and better paving should improve that.

Greening the city centre

The name Pastorietuin refers to the garden of the former pastorie (parsonage) on this site. There will be many different plants and trees, which should make the place more livable and pleasant. The garden is also part of the further greening of the Eindhoven city centre.
