Queen Máxima will visit the Dutch Design Week (DDW) in Eindhoven next Thursday. The organisers of the event announced this.
The Queen will make a tour of various designers and locations with director Miriam van der Lubbe. Among other things, they will explore the role of artificial intelligence, the application of materials in architecture and industry that are hardly ever used, the reuse of industrial residues and sustainable furniture designs. Young designers will also present their work to the queen.
Dutch Design Week
DDW ends on Sunday 29th. During the week, the city breathes design. Exhibitions can be seen at more than a hundred locations in Eindhoven. The event annually attracts some 350,000 visitors from the Netherlands and abroad.
