A cyclist was hit by a motorist on the bicycle path at the Aalsterweg/Eindhovenseweg intersection on Thursday afternoon.
The motorist was entering the N2 when the collision happened. The female cyclist suffered head injuries – the severity of which is unclear – and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
While the intersection has traffic lights, the motorist and cyclist may have had green lights at the same time.
