NXP Semiconductors to join S&P 500 Index

 NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ: NXPI), headquartered in Eindhoven, today announced that it will be added to the S&P 500 index. It will  start at the open of trading on Monday, March 22, 2021.

The S&P 500 index is widely regarded as the best single gauge of large-cap U.S. equities. NXP Semiconductors N.V. will be added to the GICS Information Technology Sub-Industry index.
