Visitors to the Dynamo Metal Fest in Eindhoven will not be able to pitch their tents at Landgoed Eikenburg after the municipality refused a permitm a spokeswoman confirmed.
The metal festival will span two days for the first time this year. The organisation hosting the event hoped to set up a campsite close to the IJssportcentrum, where bands will perform.
The municipality has not yet given a reason for refusing permission to set up a campsite. The organisation is looking into alternatives.
The festival attracts around 10,000 visitors every year.
